When the snow flies, you can help keep your neighborhood safe. The Plymouth Fire Department is asking residents to adopt a hydrant and shovel a 3-foot radius around it after a snowfall. http://bit.ly/2ipUt7f

GIVE TO THE MAX DAY IS NEAR!  November 17 is Minnesota’s Give to the Max Day!  Help the Plymouth Crime & Fire Prevention Fund (PC&FPF) with our mission to support Plymouth’s Police and Fire Departments by funding special initiatives that may be outside the City’s budget.

Current projects are…

Police Department  –  Purchasing medication disposal bags (reduce drug abuse and environmentally safe)

Fire Department  –  Upgrading and improving fire training facilities, and upgrading hostile event bags.

The National Fire Protection Association reports that 71% of smoke alarms which failed to operate had missing, disconnected or dead batteries.

The PC&FPF would like to remind you to CHANGE YOUR BATTERIES in smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors when setting the clocks back!

This could safe your life!

 

 

The MN Crime Prevention Assoc. (MCPA) presented annual Business Award to Plymouth Station Holiday

The Minnesota Crime Prevention Association (MCPA) recently presented its annual Business Award Oct. 18th to Plymouth Station Holiday, 16825 County Road 24, which was nominated by the Plymouth Public Safety Department.

Plymouth Station Holiday has been a long-time supporter of The Plymouth Crime and Fire Prevention Fund (PC&FPF), which invests in programs, initiatives, state-of-the-art technologies, and equipment that benefit the Plymouth Public Safety Department.   #PlymouthProud

The nomination was made in memory of the late Jerry Robbins, owner of Plymouth Station Holiday, and his granddaughter, Liz Robbins Nalezny.

“The Robbins family and Plymouth Station Holiday have dedicated many resources to making Plymouth a great place to live and raise families.  Our community is safer and stronger because of their efforts”, said Plymouth Public Safety Director, Mike Goldstein.

Don’t Miss The 12th Annual Plymouth Firefighters 5K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run This Saturday!!

This Saturday, September 24th is the 5K Run / Walk!  Don’t miss it! Race Day registration is available starting at 7:30 am!

The Kids Fun Run begins at 10:00 am!  Half mile or full mile runs are options, and all kids receive a gift when crossing the finish line!

 

All proceeds from this event go to the Plymouth Crime and Fire Prevention Fund (PC&FPF), a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
