Meet Corky & Barry – Our Plush Pups with a Purpose!
Cork & Barry You can take home one of our adorable Plush Pups for $20 – a fun way to support the Plymouth Crime & Fire Prevention Fund and honor two remarkable individuals who gave so much to our community. Our K-9 pup, “Corky,” is named after Courtland “Corky” Ornburg, a founding member of PC&FPF in 1977 and our Treasurer for nearly 40 years. A retired Wayzata teacher and advocate for scholarships for Plymouth Police, EMTs, and Firefighters, Corky was recognized with the Public Safety Legacy Award in 2017 for his decades of dedicated service. Our Dalmatian, “Barry,” is named in memory of Barry Bergh, a passionate and energetic board member who joined PC&FPF after completing the Plymouth Citizens Academy. Barry brought contagious enthusiasm to every event and project until his passing in early 2025. Together, Corky and Barry continue to represent the spirit of dedication and community that defines the Plymouth Crime & Fire Prevention Fund.
